I use this app every time I go fishing or to the beach! Best app out there! Accurate!
Does not open on I-phone 4s
No towns listed for northern MA or any of NH!
UI pretty but uninformative and unintuitive. Never did find the graphs. Only two links were to two different search screens (one local, one all locations? Not sure). No way to back out of them - had to do a search to get back.
This shralp Tide is great & Exactly What i looking for . Great free app
We head to the beach every weekend weather permitting and we always take our 96LB Lab so high tide doesnt work for us, this app makes sure we get there when he will have space to play and we will have time to relax! Thanks!
My buddy uses complicated formulas in his head to come in before the tide goes out, he never gets to right! I never miss because I can glance at this tide chart and know exactly when I need to be in to make it to my dock. Great app (and it is free)!
I noticed that someone else in Southeast Alaska says Shralp doesnt have any stations in Southeast. There are two just for Juneau. And the reviewer who mentions that there are no graphs. . . You have to turn your phone/iPad on its side. My only complaint is that I can only see five days of future tides. I use the app nearly every day, but I also like to plan a week or two ahead to know when its safest to cross Gastineau Channel or leave the harbor on an outgoing tide. Still, its accurate and quick.
Once you find the graphical display by turning the phone sideways, this app is great for users like me, who just want to know when to head to the beach or what time would be best to kayak to the sandbar.
Great app until recently. Keeps crashing. Please update a fix.
I have been using the free version for years. Its easy to read interface is its strength. Portrait mode is powerful for visualizing the in between tidal states. At some surf spots a foot of tide can change the game! Pay it forward and buy the $.99 upgrade!
Its great it gives me the info I need.
Ive been happily using this app for years. It does a great job. My only complaint is that you can only look at five days worth of tides. No searching ahead. Theyve added more days to their newer app, so Im testing it out. The newer one doesnt offer as many tidal stations for the area Im visiting however.
I just tested several apps, and Shralp Tide is the one I kept. The other apps lacked the feature to show how deep the tide is at this moment. I went WOW! when I turned the iPhone to landscape and saw the tide graph. Superb!
I used to be able to pick many locations from the menu. Seemed to have disappeared. I guess you have to upgrade to get them now. No problem with the developer trying to make $$, hope they dont have a problem withered uninstalling and trying something else.
Reports none of the five reporting stations near me (Langley, Whidbey Island, WA, USA).
I live in Hawaii, on the island if Oahu. This app matches the tide readings on my tide watch and tide calendar. I wish it had Haleiwa Harbor, but for a free app, its great. I accidentally going out that by turning the phone horizontal, a graph appears. Thats always appreciated.
Lame for Alaska. Key ports & points of interest are a "0" on the searches. Anchorage is about it for southcentral. Kenai dipnetters, no good for you. Price is right, but time to delete.
I only want to know the tide schedule here at home and my surrounding area and thats exactly what this app tells me. Thank you for keeping it simple! =)
