Could not find a location anywhere near me. But it does use your location, so its somewhat advanced, if you can find a place near you

People complaining about missing locations need to relax and just pick something nearby. In most locations, the tide heights dont vary that much from somewhere 50-100 miles away. Ease up. My one request - make it a universal iPhone/iPad app so I dont have to x2 it on my iPad.
Ive used this app many times. Only by looking at this page did I find the wave picture. It took me some time to figure out how to access it - then I noticed it was in landscape, rotated the iPhone and it appeared - nice feature.
Free app that does what you need it to do. Easy to read. Easy to use and the landscape view is pretty cool
Great app, should show up higher in the search for tides.
Has insufficient locations, and worse, you have to know the name of the precise locale. One example: Brunswick, Maine, USA (which has a public boat launch) is not listed. The smaller town of Georgetown, Maine, isnt either but "Robinhood, Maine" (a village within Georgetown) is. If youre not from around heeah (as we say in Maine), you wont find this much help.
Wow, a fantastic app. Works perfectly and gives 5 days out for planning. Lots of locations offered an you DO NPT need to know the name of the beach you are looking for. I use this app daily. Great A+.
(and free!)
This is exactly what I was looking for, and its free!
This app Id nice but the tide times are incorrect for some parts of NJ and DE
Love this app. Simple and efficient.
It took me a minute to figure out the swipe pages; I expected it to work like the weather app with each new swipe page reflecting a different location; but typing that out now, I realize that would be useless. Then it took another minute to figure out how to view the tide chart. Thats the real reason I wanted this app. Both super low & super high tides wash everything out. Theres space somewhere to add a button or, better, a tab bar. Currents could go in there as well without the possible confusion. As for locations, its got California covered. Location services came us with dozens of beaches nearby.
I use this app in puget sound to keep track of the tide. Its really handy and its always matched my observations. Latest version rock solid.
As tide apps go this one is top notch!! 5 days outlook is perfect amount of days. I love that it works offline as I have the iPod. Just need to add currents back in with a yearly amount of data for San Francisco. My company gives out tide books but they are just another thing to carry! Thanks for the app! Please add currents please please please I promise its not too confusing.
Its free. Its simple to use. It doesnt have complex features, such as looking up tides for dates past or dates >5 days in the future. But it does everything I need. Ive used it extensively in the U.S. and in Australia. It has tide information for some countries, and not others. It either has the tide station you need or it doesnt, and its free to find out - just download it and look.
This app worked great at first but now it crashes everytime I open it! I deleted it and re-installed it and it worked again and then began to crash over and over again!!!!!
Works as published.
Im surfing SoCal 95% of my days and use this app daily (multiple times). I love the digital and analogue views. I love how I can see the curves and tell how the tide is flowing through the day, then trace my finger along the line to see actual data points. Loving this app. Simple, but shouldnt a tide check be just that?
Simple and straight forward. I dont need an Internet connection every time I want to check the tides. Stores 5 days of info.
Nothing between Astoria and Port Orford? Great Scott! Coos Bay was the highest tonnage port in the world in the seventies -- not there. Cant search on anything other than the exact spelling in L->R order that its in the database -- need to search in the middle of the name as well; wild cards? Should be able to search by country or state, too.
